✝️ A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR PHILLIP FLYNN

THE CROWN OF THORNS: Understanding the Relevance of Christ's Sacrifice

What do the thorns in the Garden of Eden have to do with the crown placed upon the head of Jesus?

From the curse of sin in Genesis to the suffering of Christ at Calvary, Scripture reveals a powerful connection. Thorns represent the consequences of sin, the cares of this world, spiritual opposition, affliction, and the things that entangle and hinder our lives.

But at the cross, Jesus wore a crown of thorns. He took upon Himself the curse, becoming a curse for us, so that through Him we could receive redemption and the promise of God's blessing.

The very symbol of the curse became a reminder of the price of our freedom.

When life feels overwhelming, when faith seems weak, and when victory feels lost, where do we turn? We return to the will of God, nourish our faith with His Word, and remember what Jesus has already accomplished.
